A large fish rare for the Oregon coast was found this morning at Sunset Beach. 3.5 foot, 100 pound opah was reported at Seaside Aquarium at 8:00 AM. After seeing the pictures of the fish, he reacted immediately and recovered the fish. This created quite a stir in the aquarium, where people were very excited to see this beautiful and strange looking fish.
The fish had been on the beach for less than an hour and was removed by aquarium staff before the birds found it. to do no harm
